Former England captain Michael Vaughan believes India's run-machine Virat Kohli is the best 'all-round' batsman in the world. Responding to a tweet that described former Australia captain Steve Smith as the best batsman of all formats, Vaughn said, "I don't agree." Virat is the best all round batsman'.

Steve Smith played an unbeaten 132-ball 131 in the third and deciding ODI of the series against India at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Sunday. However, in the end, victory was achieved by Kohli's team in which the Indian captain made a century partnership with captain Rohit Sharma 119 runs while playing an innings of 89 runs.

India suffered a 10-wicket defeat in the first ODI of this series under Virat's captaincy, then the next two ODIs were won by the hosts. Virat played 78 innings in the second ODI and 89 runs in the third ODI of this series. At the same time, Smith played 98 innings in the second ODI and 131 runs in the Bangalore ODI match.

The 30-year-old Smith made a comeback after a one-year ban in South Africa for his role in ball tampering and earned a lot of runs, including his best during the Ashes series last summer. Kohli also continued to score a lot of runs and retained his top spot in the ICC ODI ranking batsmen with 886 points.
